Our Mission.

At StreetSmart Krav Maga, our mission is to teach real-world self-defence as a vital life skill, not just a sport. We equip children, teens, and adults with practical tools to stay safe: situational awareness, verbal de-escalation, and simple, effective techniques that work under pressure.

Through structured, age-appropriate classes, school partnerships, and community workshops, we help people build confidence, resilience, and composure in the face of danger. Our goal is a safer, stronger community where every person has the knowledge, mindset, and skills to protect themselves and those they care about.

Meet Our Founder & Lead Instructor.

Ben is our Founder & Lead Instructor, a passionate advocate for personal safety, fitness, and community empowerment. As a dedicated father himself, Ben deeply understands the importance of equipping families with practical, effective self-defence skills.

Having trained for many years in Krav Maga, Ben holds certifications and insurance with KMG Global, the oldest and largest association, and continually updates his expertise through rigorous ongoing training. His friendly yet disciplined approach creates a supportive and motivating environment, helping students of all ages build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills.

Ben is also a qualified teacher and can support schools in integrating personal safety and self-defence skills into their PE and PSHE curriculum.
